Some people are concerned that reverse osmosis reduces the water pH due to removal of minerals. Sometimes pH value may get as low as 4 to 5 if source water is hard. ISPRING RCC7AK is an upgrade model of our most popular under sink Reverse Osmosis system RCC7. It features the 6th alkaline stage, which restores alkalinity by adding small amount (30 mg/Gal.) of calcium and magnesium back into water. The pH value typically will be around 7 to 8 but depends on source water hardness.
